The aim of the study is to present the case of malignant melanoma located on iliac vessels area of 24 years old patient and to present contemporary views on therapeutic options in metastatic malignant melanoma. In presenting case, after the surgery and received histopathological examination result the patient was undergoing chemotherapy, further subsequent laparotomy was proceeded. Then patient was qualified to the targeted treatment by tyrosine kinase inhibitor. Metastatic melanoma characterizes a high resistance to conventional chemotherapy, targeted therapy brings hope to improve the results of treatment of this disease, which still remain below expectations. In addition, it is worth to note that in cases of abnormal tissue in the minor pelvis, the possibility of metastatic cancer should always be taking into consideration.
