The aim of this study was to present the case of cystadenocarcinoma in appendix and pseudomyxoma peritoei in 57-years old patient with suspicion of ovarian cancer and to analyze contemporary literature treating about this disease, its diagnostic and therapeutic methods. Pseudomyxoma peritonei is a rear disease that frequently appears with other neoplasms. In presented case it was found with cystadenocarcinoma in appendix. In this type of tumors there are no biochemical markers that could be useful for its early recognition, in clinical diagnosing it is ought to base on imaging and histopathology. In treatment, as a complementary to cytoreduction surgery Heated Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) is introducing nowadays, in several studies it is reported to increased treatment results.
